Scarlett Dalton is a full time sex therapist, counselor and author. She’s an active member of AASECT and has previously worked as a sex education teacher and phone sex operator. Scarlett has always been fascinated with the human mind and went on to study psychology at George Washington University. During college she worked part time as a phone sex operator to earn some extra money on the side. She went into the job for money, but was surprised with how much she enjoyed learning about what turns men on. As a result, she learned a lot about sexual desires and this peeked her interest. What started out as a bit of side income, turned into something much more substantial for Scarlett. After college she decided to start working towards a career in sex therapy. She worked as a sex ed teacher for 2 years teaching the basics and safe practice to grades 6 to 12, before finally becoming a fully qualified sex therapist. Scarlett believes that having a fulfilled sex life results in far more satisfaction that most people would imagine. She states “I’ve worked with so many couples that admit to having a poor sex life, and you can see the dissatisfaction on their faces. When I help them to get their sex life back on track you see a completely different couple. Sex is one of the corner stones of happiness for many people. A sex deprived, rich person is unhappy, whilst a poor, sexually active person is content.” Scarlett shares some of her sexual secrets in her books.
