I grew up as a people-pleaser, lacking self-love and relying on others for validation. I buried my emotions deep inside, unable to speak up for myself, and lost myself trying to meet society's standards. The universe led me to catalyst life events that put me on the path of self-discovery; it has been a beautiful journey. After years of being molded by society, it felt like I was unpeeling the layers of an onion. The journey was pretty lonely—filled with tears, joys, and tons of “ah-ha” moments—but I was able to connect with a beautiful, amazing soul tribe. The process of unpacking all those years of conditioning and not being true to my higher self, living in fear, and hiding behind guilt and shame takes time. This personal experience inspired me to help the next generation. Through stories and a framework for parents, I want to help kids express their emotions freely, feel heard, and know that all their emotions are valid.
