I have been writing for many years, but did not start writing novels until 1988 when I wrote my first one. I have worked for the US Army most of my adult life and am now retired and living with my wife of 50+ years in St Augustine Florida. When I had trouble publishing my first two books, I switched to writing children's books. I published three of them under the title Rhineheart's Games. They did not sell well, and I ran out of money to self-publish, so I decided I would write what was in my heart whether they sold or not. So I started writing in a very narrow sub-genre called LDS/Christian Action/Adventure Thrillers. I have published my first two books (The Grace of God and Terror in the Kingdom) and plan to continue writing that series for the foreseeable future. The story in that series follows a hero who finds Christianity while working as a special operations sniper and leaves the Army so he can stop killing. But God seems t have different plans for him. The hero is something of a cross between James Bond and Jason Bourne as a Christian. I know, right?! Not many people start off looking for that kind of book, but those who have read them have enjoyed them. More of those books will follow in the future.
