About this listen
What would you do if you were given a second chance?
Titus Briggs is an Earth Defense soldier, a grunt, a decorated war hero—it's all he's ever known. So when a career-ending injury leaves him lying in a hospital bed, missing both legs, he struggles to accept his new reality. He can no longer walk, which means he can no longer fight.
That is until a mysterious colonel arrives and offers Titus the opportunity to step into a new kind of war, a new kind of fight. To become a new kind of soldier.
Mobile Combat Suits—MOCOMS—represent the next stage in human warfare. They enable soldiers to fight like never before. Stronger. Faster. Bristling with weaponry. Far more lethal.
Even a disabled veteran like Titus can operate one… if he can find the heart, grit, and determination needed to pass selection.
Now, with the end of humanity upon him, Titus must become the Able Bodied Soldier.

Didn’t think it would be anything to write home about… Wrong
Honestly when I got it didn’t expect much, just knew it would be a Good listen since it’s Jason Anspach and J.N. Chaney… Added bonus one of my two favourite Narrators R.C Bray was doing it, gave me starship troopers meets armored core feels, Maybe a hint of Drop Trooper, I like the Main character, The crew are good, The plot is leading somewhere and holding enough back your like NEXT BOOK NOW, hoping to see Billy a bit more fleshed out since even Kristoff got more fleshed out towards the end, The Colonel damn good, Brigs MOCOM AI Ja Ai… Chefs Kiss, Looking forward to the next book

Great story, entertaining to the last word!
Really looking forward to the second book as a series I think it’s got some exciting possibilities. Maybe some of the point ideas are unique but the story is told in an entertaining well described and enjoyable way.

Loved it
So I like this and will 100% get book two I don’t want to spoil anything but the individual ignoring orders and getting away with it is just seems unrealistic
