Great story.
OK the main character could be dreaming of Sean Connery, but as a bit of a romp it works top marks'

Not my usual book, loved every second of it!
I wouldn't normally choose a book like this but was so glad that I did! the narrator was fantastic and the accents were credible. highly recommended!

Supergran
Very well narrated tale of a Supergran, kept me well entertained. Money well spent and no hesitation in recommending it.

Enjoyable romp, albeit a tad unbelievable
Would you listen to All Fun and Games Until Somebody Loses an Eye again? Why?
Eventually, but there is a few more ahead of it in the list
What was one of the most memorable moments of All Fun and Games Until Somebody Loses an Eye?
Chaos Cottage. Gripping.
Which character – as performed by Sarah Barron – was your favourite?
Mrs Fleming
Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?
No. It's not that type of book
Any additional comments?
I love Christopher Brookmyre. A great storey teller, particularly when introducing humour. This wasn't one of those, but still stands put as a excellent thriller.

Loved it from start to finish
I had never heard of this author before and bought it as a ‘daily deal’.
It turned out to be something very different from what I was expecting but I loved it from start to finish and became totally willing to suspend disbelief. I loved the occasional humour in it too and laughed out loud several times.
The narration was excellent too.
Highly recommended!

Glorious
This was a fun romp full of crazy escapism. It could be argued this book is a bit silly with a self-referenced similarity to some of the old Bond movies but I enioyed it. It's just a fun, well written book with a decent plot. The narration was wonderful too. I'm not sure where to look next: more books by this author or more by the narrator?!

Oh Mother, what a good tale!
James Bond meets River City, a great plot, plenty of tension and some hilarious retribution. Slick to the end.
Felt sorry for Sarah Barron towards the end as she'd evidently contracted a bit of a cold through her narration, though this didn't dent her performance or her fulfilling the enjoyment of my listen

Fun and Games with a Cheer at great story points
I really enjoyed this book. I've read it before and having it read in lots of different voices was fun. I love all the characters and so wish it would be made into a film.
Brookmyre is one sick hilarious puppy haha.

Slow starter, then entertaining throughout
A thoroughly enjoyable tale that gets you on the edge of your seat one minute and laughing out loud the next. Slow to start, but well worth the wait, with great characters and disbelief only suspended slightly.
