  • Saturday, January 11th, 2025: Mansfield Senior suffered their 1st home loss of the season to Lima Senior, 61-57, at Pete Henry Gymnasium. The Spartans jumped out to a 8-0 lead, but the TYgers came right back with a 7-0 spurt. Mansfield Senior led the game by 4, 20-16, after the 1st quarter. Lima Senior outscored Mansfield Senior, 15-9 , in the 2nd quarter to take a two point lead into halftime at 31-29. Mansfield Senior had the edge in scoreing in the 3rd period, 15-11, an dthe TYgers led 44-42 after 3 quarters. Lima Senior won the final quarter, 19-13, to improved to 8-1, while Mansfield Senior falls to 8-2. Lima Senior had 4 guys finish in double figures: Amari Addy 15, Je'Kel Cotton 13 points and 18 rebounds, and 10 each for Willie Foster and Noah Simpson. Shawn Foster received two technical fouls in the 1st half and finished with 8 points. Mansfield Senior's Andrew Brooks, sophomore, had a great game with 14 points and 9 rebounds. Kyevi Roane had 19 points, 8 rebounds, and D'Vontae Johnson had a double double - finishing with 11 points and 10 rebounds.
