About this listen
"My house is a mess, my underwear is mixing with hers in the laundry, and my safe, quiet haven now smells of burnt candles and her."
Indy
Being the founder of a non-profit and keeping it going is my only focus right now. I don't have time for distraction–men, my health, my friends–all of it takes a back seat to me keeping this going. I've lived by other people's rules for too long, I am ready to break out on my own, and I'll prove to everyone I can do it. The Crown Project helps sick children and their families find some happiness during hard times, and I am committed to making it happen. If I can't have my own, I'll give someone else a fairytale. The only man I'd want is off-limits to me anyway. He's the meanest, grumpiest, and, unfortunately, the sexiest man I know. He also works with my brother. So there's that. I'll always be a supporting character, never the princess. My life just won't let me. It's impossible.
Derek
Without routine and order, the only thing left is chaos. Chaos leaves room for disorder and unhappiness. And that leads to betrayal. Never again will I allow that to happen. I am steady, focused, and at the top of my game as a tattoo artist at Hel's Ink. I am established, successful, and there is nothing that happens in my life that I don't allow. And then there is Indy. She is inescapable - a whirlwind of kindness and beauty and goodness. Everything about her is impossible. Left with no choice but to help her out of a challenging situation. I soon regret my decision and the insanity that comes with it. I let her in. Into my home and my life. But never– never- into my heart. There's no such thing as fairytales, and love stories don't really exist. But when everything changes, I wonder if maybe I've found a little piece of chaos I can live with.

Derek & Indy!
What a fabulous listen! DJ Krimmer continues to this amazing series with a grumpy sunshine story sure to tug at the heart strings! Derek is the one who doesn't want to be friend with anyone. He likes his life as a tattoo artist, everything orderly and being alone is fine with him. Indy is all sunshine, bringing joy to children at the hospital and running her nonprofit. These two are not only years apart, but complete opposites, and thought the attraction is strong, Derek has no intention on acting on it. Until Indy needs a place to live that is handicap accessible. Taking her into his home leads to chaos, but it may be exactly what they both need. This story is everything. It's finding your other half, it's knowing your love of career, it's living for each other no matter the circumstance and it's pure love. I really am enjoying this series. I love how the others I have met get to come and spend time and give advice and love to each other. I am looking forward to Stevie's story now! Bring it on!
Mollie Stark and Joe Arden are the story tellers and this casting could not have been better. Stark is Indy, and her cheerful attitude brings her alive. She deals with a lot, is sad, scared and passionate all packed into this amazing woman. Arden plays Derek, the broody, solitary man finding his true path. Together they create their world and made for hours of entertainment.

I love this series!
This is the fourth book in the Hel's Ink series. I like tattoo shop romance! Derek and Indy's story is beautifully written, emotional and engaging, filled with drama, angst and romance. Derek is handsome and protective. Indy is beautiful, sassy, strong and smart. They are both amazing characters. I like the tension, the humor and the slow burn romance. I liked to see again the characters from the first books in the series. Mollie Stark and Joe Arden did an excellent job bringing these characters and this story to life. They are perfect as Derek and Indy. I enjoyed it. Looking forward to listening to Stevie, the next book in the series. I highly recommend this series!

Love Derek and Indy
I have read all the previous books in the Hells Ink series and they have all been solid 5 star reads for me and Derek didn’t disappoint.
This book covered some very difficult subjects but they were dealt with beautifully I absolutely loved Indy she is a beautiful soul who has been dealt a tough hand with her MS diagnosis but her determination and attitude is amazing and inspiring.
Derek mmm there are times I wanted to smack and hug him in equal measure but when he finally comes to his senses he is book boyfriend perfection 😍
This book gave me all the feels and I literally couldn’t put it down.
I absolutely love the subjects this series covers it’s not light fluff it deals with real world challenges and gives hope and inspiration.
