Summary

Is stress keeping you up at night? Are you tired of wasting your time and energy worrying all the time? Do you see the irrationality of constant worrying, but you can't seem to stop doing it? Are you ready to learn how to deal with generalized anxiety disorder (GAD)?

This book will walk you through precisely why, how, and what you need to do to stop worrying and start living your life.

Nearly 800 million people worldwide experience mental illness. Some of the most prominent adverse mental conditions include stress, anxiety, and depression. These can lead to recurring periods of sadness, worry, anxiety, loss of vigor, loss of interest, poor concentration, and feelings of worthlessness. These issues can affect your psychological and physical health, and when you let them go untreated, they can have longstanding effects on your life and relationships. The more you ignore your mental strife, the harder it becomes to be resilient in the face of hardship, and if you let emotions get out of hand, they can lead to increased mental illness.

Anxiety disorders are the most typical form of mental health issues around the globe. This book will teach you to better understand generalized anxiety disorder and how to effectively manage it. This is the book for you to stay on the right track and achieve your dreams. It will keep you committed towards your goals in life and push you to do better.

This book provides a complete framework and a well-rounded set of tools with which to understand the causes of GAD, and how to overcome it.

This book is for those who want:

  • Reduced stress and anxiety
  • Better physical and mental health
  • Improved self-awareness and self-esteem
  • More mental clarity
  • More inspiration and motivation

Your anxiety doesn't have to continue to keep you from living your life to the fullest. It's time to tear down your current way of thinking and rebuild thought patterns that contribute to your life in constructive ways.

Kind of basic and robotic narrator

This is the first book I’ve listened to on this subject and while it was interesting for the basic information on the subject, I found the advice given limited. At the end it says it has explored the aspects, symptoms and ‘cures’ thoroughly, it didn’t feel thorough. The narration was verging on robotic, generic with limited expression. Lacking personality. Easy to switch off from. Also I didn’t appreciate the interruption asking for reviews. There was some interesting and useful information in this, but it left me wanting unfortunately.

Amazing and life saving

I have been suffering with this for years without knowing what was wrong with me. This audiobook literally saved my life, have had suicidal thoughts recently as everything has become too much. I’m not religious but someone or something put this book my life at this time . A million thank yous to the author.

Disappointing - suggest avoiding

Either poorly written (or recorded with errors). Content is expressed in such a way that makes it difficult to understand and digest. The narrator is also reminiscent of an AI (devoid of cadence, emotion and disconnected from the context).
