Summary

Both women were wearing alluring dresses. Both women had pleasant perfumes on. But, they were quite different from each other. The Mayor, in the middle, was inhaling both at the same time. That had a peculiar effect. The Mayor always thought that the perfume worn by a woman either complimented or ruined the scent of her natural pheromones. When the perfume and the pheromones are well-matched, the results can prove to be devastating for the man inhaling the combination. He can become irretrievably hooked on the woman.

The reverse of the process can make a man break Olympic speed records running away. The pheromones have always been the primary love potion designed by Mother Nature. Yes, men have it too, in abundance. That scent always attracted men and women to each other. That attraction always led to sex and procreation. That is, until some entrepreneurs began bottling flowers in alcohol and selling those bottles to women with the promise the concoction will spellbind men.

Now the Mayor was deeply engaged in comparing the pheromones of both women. It was not easy, as their natural scents were being masked by flowers in alcohol. Yet somehow he was able to distinguish the two from each other. Next, he was almost compelled to decide which one he liked better. That surprised the Mayor as he did his utmost not to judge anyone or anything, but accept the values displayed. Those values belonged to someone or something else. He did not need to enforce his own onto something else.
