Summary

From USA Today and WSJ Bestselling Author, Amelia Hutchins comes a tale of love, war, and betrayal.

A queen in chaos . . .

A kingdom left in ashes . . .

A fate that may turn to ruins . . .

A king who continually stokes her flames….

What’s a girl to do?

Some women rise from their ashes, Aria tends to be the one making the ashes nowadays.

Aria’s world is unraveling into utterly, beautiful chaos. Will she become the savior the Nine Realms need, or will she become the monster they’ve made?

Are you brave enough to enter the Nine Realms?

There’s a queen rising, and in chaos, she’ll reign.

A note from the publisher.

This book is a true enemy to lover’s tale. It deals with death and adversity. It is merciless, savage, and a view of how broken things overcome against inconceivable odds.

The steam between these two electrifies the audio.

Knox is savagery in motion. Aria is a chaotic beauty. So, what happens when brutality and beauty collide? Aria and Knox burn so hot together that they may well leave the Nine Realms in nothing more than ashes.

Narrators 😢

I struggled to get through this book, the story was not as good as the other ones in the series, however the main issue was the narrators - changed from the previous 3 books, and these narrators ruined the audiobook for me. I love Amelia’s books and I hope they switch back to the previous narrators for the next book.

Oooooooooo what a ride!

Love the legacy of the nine realms series! It gave me all the feels, properly sobbed at this one and then came back swinging….. can’t wait for the last books!

Narrators??

What happened to the fantastic Narrators of the previous book??? A Barnes..T Duran?? Narrators can make or break a book and I found it difficult to listen to this duo. I was so looking forward to release of the audio of this book.

Loved it 🐉🧙🏽‍♀️🧙🏽‍♀️💞🔥

4,5🌟 This was totally worth the wait and I savoured every second of it.
What a rollercoaster ride! It was not as emotional as the previous book but it was close.
Unfortunately , we don't see enough Aria & Knox in this one, and some of the dialogue felt messy and all over the place. Still, we get lots of embarrassing comments from Ember, tons of sarcasm, plenty of battles, good spicy, plus dragons and phenoxies. Plenty of secrets are uncovered and a few unexpected situations happen.... not to mention we finally get to witness a major event, finally, finally take place.
Great narration even if not TD.

No, no, no, no!!!

Why would the producer change the voices for book 5? Knox has suddenly turned from a sultry deep voiced monster to a cowboy!!! Why? It ruined the story and added to that horror Aria suddenly became a bratty teenage mean girl from some awful chick flick. I think I will have to read book 6 rather than listen to it if the same narrators are kept.
