Summary

The finale of the best-selling saga!

Determined to win the war against the Necorers, Farin and Knight Emicho travel to Hubstone, the capital city. Thanks to stinker’s daemonic meddling, the gravedigger’s son becomes the rising star at the royal court. All too soon, he finds himself dealing with political machinations and intrigues.

Meanwhile, on the other continent, Aross is facing her own seemingly insurmountable challenges. She travels to a mysterious guild in an old cloister – and the more she finds out about the guild-members' sorcery, the greater is her desire to get away....

Brilliant fantasy story

This was a tale that I did not want to end. It was brilliant and easy to listen to. I listened to all 4 books back to back, which I never normally do. Would highly recommend if you like, lighthearted fantasy.

Brilliant

Captivating. Courage. Adventure. Fantasy. Humour. The recipe for a great story where you follow a journey you become part of.

Wonderful isn’t a good enough word

I have been avoiding listening to this because I knew it would end - and then what would I do? But, eventually, I really needed to hear the end. It’s hard to imagine a better story with so many loveable - and dastardly - characters. In this joyless world, these four books have made life magical. And Gildart Jackson could read a train timetable and I’d hang on every syllable.

Absolutely brilliant

Sad that it is all over but what a fantastic journey full of suspense and good humour. I can not fault it. Narrated brilliantly. I listen at 1.7 speed. Enjoy
