About this listen

Coexisting but conflicting needs create self-sabotaging behaviors. This is why we resist efforts to change, often until they feel completely futile. But by extracting crucial insight from our most damaging habits, building emotional intelligence by better understanding our brains and bodies, releasing past experiences at a cellular level, and learning to act as our highest potential future selves, we can step out of our own way and into our potential.

For centuries, the mountain has been used as a metaphor for the big challenges we face, especially ones that seem impossible to overcome. To scale our mountains, we actually have to do the deep internal work of excavating trauma, building resilience, and adjusting how we show up for the climb. In the end, it is not the mountain we master, but ourselves.

First Book to Listen Twice

Direct cut in the flesh to the bone.
The first book that I’ll listen twice, at least, as it provided answers to so many unasked questions and touches so many “debated” topics. Few books from this genre are so precise and clear. From my point of view its such a wholesome write, clearing the fog and unveiling hidden paths to conquer the mountain within. I purposely avoid giving precise details as one must really take on the pleasantly surprising adventure of listening and understanding this story. The guide is skilled and has put a tremendous amount of effort in drawing the map, for all levels of explorers, to the top of the mountain. Enjoy ☺️

Amazing book

Really enjoyed this book, but unfortunately the narrators voice didn’t work for me personally I found it hard to concentrate and what she was saying. Other than narrator choice the book itself was amazing and im going to buy the physical copy to reread

Powerful and insightful

Well delivered and very informative common sense approach to self-development; nice soothing voice. Makes sense to me; most of all it got through to me that it's the small steps that matter the most when it comes to changing one's habits for the better and to be in the present as much as possible.
