Easy read for summer
Great characters which Claire Pooley expertly makes you root for because of their failings.
Gentle read ideal for the beach.

Real characters, a twist on the experiences of everyday life, great story.
Characters were enjoyable and great to follow. They represent those we meet in everyday life and with each character and their challenges told through a wider story formed around a group that travel by train. A book (audio version) that made my journey to work a pleasant one.
Anxieties and bullying, self confidence, loathing, relationships, mental health and challenges, all addressed very well and slotted into the story in a clever and balanced way.
Thoroughly enjoyable. An easy read and listen. Looking forward to more from the same author.

A gem in the audible world
This is a very easy listening story and the characters become your friends. It actually made me laugh out loud in places too. Sometimes you feel like you can go ages without laughing out loud so it’s one of the reasons I’ve taken it to my heart.
