Pragtige storie

Dis só ‘n pragtige storie. Die voordraer se stem pas net glad nie. En die uitsprake van die Italiaanse en Duitse woorde is verkeerd.

Uitstekende boek, uitstekend gelees

Buiten vir die bindende verhaal, is die geskiedkundige agtergrond baie goed uitgebeeld. Die leser het die vermoë om met haar stem, elke karakter individueel tot sy/haar reg te laat kom, veral Grietjie en Jacob. Sy bemeester selfs die ander tale ter sprake.
