  • 5 Things We Do That Hold Us Back
    Aug 21 2024

Grab a pen & paper for this one! These are all things that have regularly come up in conversation. The common thread connecting these is that they either hold us back or have held us back in the past.

If any of these are something you'd like help with, schedule a coaching session! SCHEDULE HERE

If you're listening on Spotify, use the new comment feature to share what resonated with you from this episode or drop a question.

    1. Do you find yourself shrinking yourself or dimming your light in order to make other people more comfortable? This is such a hot topic, the whole premise of my TEDx Talk is on this! Haven't watched it yet? WATCH HERE

    2. How often do you find yourself thinking about things vs actually doing them!? This is another area that might hold us back.

    3. Are you an ambitious optimist? Tune in for the definition and a list of characteristics that ambitious/eternal optimists possess. Be a little delulu!

    4. Doing things that don't bring joy. Or NOT doing things that do bring us joy. A great way to track this is with the nurture tracker in I'm My Favorite: A Guided Journal for Your Path Forward.

    5. Giving a sh*t about what other people think about you. Do you find yourself seeking external validation and putting significant weight on what other people think? This can be a tough one for people pleasers or those recovering people pleasers.
