  • Ian Koenig just set the new self-supported Fastest Known Time on the Buckeye Trail. So he was responsible for sourcing and carrying all of his own hydration and nutrition while he circumnavigated the state of Ohio on the 1,444 mile trail. This has been an exceptionally dry year for Ohio and it was a challenge for Ian to find water at times since many streams and creeks were dry due to the drought.
