Makes sense
Hearing the scientific approach about how our bodies process different types of food not only the good but the bad (ep2) just makes sense and really helps debunk the whole fad diet culture.
Sometimes you just need someone to explain and tell you what’s what and this does exactly that. I feel more positive in making improvements to my gut and overall health.plus I like the no nonsense narration.

Great science based context on a new area in health. Much needed and appreciated.
I have been struggling with several got based problems. I have had scans, various tubes inserted for tests.
Most test results said you are recovering from a virus, drink water and wait for time to pass.
No one I have seen so far has even remotely addressed the cause and source of the problem.
This podcast does address the problem and it’s source. Summary modern diet of semi processed food.

Food by Janet and Jim!
Unfortunately this is a regurgitation of the principles behind food guidelines. I still can’t believe this drivel is still being taught and promulgated through the nutrition system. Most people outside of mainstream nutrition know that grains are one of the worst things humans can eat and the very guidelines they use are making us sick and I’ll! Get your truthful information elsewhere.

Not accurate, hoped for better
I think she is confused by 'vegan diet' and 'plant blased diet'. She claims both paleo and vegan diets are similar because both don't eat processed food, and snack on nuts and seeds. This is not true, vegan is a stance against animal cruelty, you can be an unhealthy junk food vegan. It is not about your health, it's about the animals. A plant based diet is about personal health and means you eat mostly whole plant foods. It's quite important to know the difference.
