  • THE ONLY RIGHTEOUSNESS THAT COUNTS

FAITH TO FAITH Series| RIGHTEOUSNESS | NATURE OF GOD| LIFE IN CHRIST | DISCIPLESHIP |CHIMDI OHAHUNA

Welcome to Episode 2 of our "Faith 2 Faith" series, where we further our study into the essence of faith and its transformative power in our lives. In this episode, we explore the profound theme of "Their Own Righteousness" and how it affects the New Creation's walk with God.

Join us as we unpack the critical distinction between praying out of revelation faith versus desperation and frustration. We discuss the importance of allowing divine revelation to guide our spiritual journey instead of imposing our personal revelations on others. Remember, faith should not infringe upon the rights of fellow believers; we are called to walk our path of faith without forcing our light onto others.

Throughout this episode, we address the insidious nature of judgment, particularly how the enemy seeks to assess us based on our self-righteousness. Instead, we are reminded to stand firm on the Finished Work of Christ, our only source of true righteousness and legal standing before God.

Discover the significance of obedience as a tangible manifestation of our willingness to follow God's ways. While the natural man is often resistant, clinging to self-made standards of righteousness, we emphasize the beauty of grace and the folly of works without faith. Key scriptures, such as Ephesians 2:5 and 1 Samuel 15:22, guide our conversation, highlighting that true obedience flows from a heart willing to submit to God’s righteousness.

Isaiah 64:4 serves as a crucial reminder that our pursuit of righteousness cannot be partial; God desires total surrender and authentic faith. If He cannot save us completely, then partial salvation is not His plan.

Tune in for insights that challenge your perspectives and deepen your understanding of righteousness as you journey from faith to faith. Whether you're struggling with doubts or seeking a clearer path in your spiritual life, this episode is for you. Let’s embark on this journey together!

  • CHRIST IN US: Understanding God’s Righteousness
    Sep 3 2024

FAITH TO FAITH Series| RIGHTEOUSNESS | NATURE OF GOD| LIFE IN CHRIST | DISCIPLESHIP |CHIMDI OHAHUNA

Welcome to the FAITH to FAITH podcast series, where we embark on a transformative journey through the profound themes of faith, righteousness, and our relationship with God. In our inaugural episode, we tackle a powerful topic: “GOD’S RIGHTEOUSNESS Versus THEIR OWN RIGHTEOUSNESS.”

Join us as we study the Scriptures, particularly Romans 1:17 and 10:1-3, John 5:39, and Isaiah 53:1-12, to discern the vital distinctions between human righteousness and the righteousness that comes from God. Our exploration unveils how a zeal without knowledge can lead to spiritual disaster, and how knowledge devoid of zeal often results in paralysis. We contend that ignorance is not simply a mistake; it is an intentional choice to overlook the divine truths that are readily available to us.

In our discussion, we will shed light on the futility of striving for personal righteousness—those futile attempts we often make to earn favor through prayers, giving, and other works—without recognizing that true righteousness is given freely through God’s grace. As we scrutinize Romans 10:3, we unfold God's magnificent plan for justifying mankind through faith in His Son, Jesus Christ. The main learning points are:

    · The Divine Scheme: Understanding how God’s righteousness offers salvation and brings peace between sinners and Himself.

    · Progressive Faith: How our faith evolves through understanding God’s righteousness, inviting us to deeper knowledge of Christ, just as outlined in Romans 1:17 and Philippians 3:10.

    · A New Identity: Recognizing our status as legal heirs and adopted children in the Beloved, through which we partake in His holiness and nature (1 Peter 1:3-4; Romans 8:16-17).

    · Imputation of Righteousness: Exploring how God imparts His righteousness upon us and the significance of Christ's sacrifice in our justification.

The FAITH to FAITH podcast series will help to deepen the understanding of faith and righteousness of saints. Each episode in this series, combines insightful teaching and practical Christian living applications, bringing believers closer to the heart of God. As we move from faith to faith, we invite you to join this journey of understanding and transformation.

Tune in to discover how God’s righteousness is not just a doctrine, but the foundational truth that changes everything! • GOD'S GIFT OF JUSTIFICATION: Understanding Your Eternal Security
    Sep 2 2024

THE NEW CREATION SUMMIT| NATURE OF RIGHTEOUSNESS | NEW LIFE| Discipleship |CHIMDI OHAHUNA

Welcome to Day 6 of the New Creation Summit! We’ve journeyed through the profound truths of Scripture, and today we advance into the study of justification as presented in Romans 8:33-34. Building on our previous discussion of Romans 8:23, we turn to insights from reputable Bible commentaries, including the esteemed Albert Barnes, to enrich our understanding.

In this episode, we unpack the compelling questions posed in Romans: "Who shall accuse?" and "Who shall bring a charge against God’s elect?" As we explore these verses, we come to a powerful realization: the very essence of being chosen by God removes any grounds for accusation. God’s elect, those selected according to His eternal plan, are cherished and secure in His grace. We will emphasize that justification is not merely a doctrinal concept but a divine act where God saves His people in such a way that no charge can stand against them.

We also confront the insidious tactics of the enemy, who seeks to sow seeds of doubt and guilt in our minds, aware that before God, we stand uncondemned. Our discussion will illuminate how guilt can mislead us if we rely solely on our conscience. While our conscience serves as a guide, it can sometimes misfire, leading us to false condemnation—a reminder of God’s greater truth, that His understanding surpasses our feelings of guilt.

Taking a closer look at the nature of justification, discover how it entails God’s foresight into our lives. He justifies us knowing our past, present, and future failures yet chooses to offer us grace. This concept lays the groundwork for our understanding of eternal security in Christ. We are safe and secure in our redemption, with the promise that God will not condemn us again.

However, we emphasize that this truth does not grant us a license to sin. Rather, true justification invites us into a lifelong process of repentance and growth in Christ. The Greek word for repentance denotes a continual changing of our minds and perspectives. As we remain in Christ, our eyes are opened to deeper truths, and we find ourselves craving a more intimate relationship with Him.

Join us for this enriching session where we not only seek to grasp the assurance of our justification but also understand the responsibilities that come with it. Remember, being justified is a privilege that calls us into a deeper pursuit of knowing our Lord Jesus.
