Living in Grace: The Source of Righteousness

Welcome back to the Faith to Faith Podcast! In this enlightening episode, we dig deeper into the profound truth that the grace of God is not only what saves us but also what sustains us in our journey of faith. Drawing from Galatians 3:1-3, we explore the critical importance of relying wholeheartedly on God’s grace to produce the fruit of righteousness in our lives.

Join us as we uncover the wisdom in being who we truly are as New Creations—the righteousness of God in Christ—while also recognizing the folly of trying to achieve this righteousness through our efforts. This teaching reveals how when God becomes our mirror, reflecting His grace, we will see ourselves in the light of His love rather than through the distorted lens of self-judgment.

This episode also highlights the indispensable role of the Holy Spirit in living a spirit-led life and how the Spirit empowers us to embrace the grace that keeps us secure in our relationship with God. Ephesians 1:13 and 4:30 remind us that the Holy Spirit is our seal and guarantee, ensuring that we cannot be separated from the love of God the Father.

Grace is a mystery that defies our understanding, and therefore, we are called to trust in it fully. We encourage you to subscribe to the GRACELIFECOMI podcast for more enriching, edifying, and transforming teachings that will deepen your understanding of God’s grace.

    Sep 10 2024

DISCIPLESHIP COURSE|STUDY OF THE WORDS AND LIFE OF JESUS IN SYNOPTIC GOSPEL |UPGRADE |CHIMDI OHAHUNA

The Heart of the Matter: Choosing Rest Over Sin.

Welcome to the latest episode of our enlightening series, WORDS OF JESUS! In this thought-provoking episode, we delve deep into the critical understanding of sin in the life of a believer. Drawing from impactful Bible references such as Romans 12:2, 1 John 3:9, Hebrews 10:22-29, Numbers 31:19, James 4:8, and 2 Timothy 2:21, we explore the profound truth that sin is not meant to define the life of Christians who are justified through Christ.

Join us as we illuminate the concept that sin is nothing more than a borrowed life for those rooted in Christ. We discuss how habitual, willful sin indicates a departure from the guidance of the Holy Spirit—the very seal of redemption. Just as Adam surrendered his authority in the Garden of Eden, we too face the grave danger of apostasy when we allow the enemy to gain a foothold in our lives.

Through our exploration, we emphasize that our identity as New Creations in Christ grants us the privilege of rest, rather than a relentless struggle or cycle of burdens. We draw on Matthew 11:28-30, where Jesus invites us to take His yoke upon us and learn from Him. Are we merely surviving in our faith, or are we genuinely resting in the peace that Christ offers? We challenge listeners to consider that unrest is a conscious choice.

This episode encourages a mindset shift to embrace a life of tranquility that stems from an effective relationship with God. We discuss the intentional steps necessary to guard our hearts and sanctify our bodies. A fellowship with God naturally distances us from the practice of sin, and we underline our responsibility to continuously purify our minds to avoid double-mindedness.

If you're eager to find rest in the Lord and understand the power of living free from the grip of sin, this episode is for you! Join us for a rich teaching session filled with Scriptural insights, practical applications, and a call to deepen your relationship with God. Remember, in Christ, rest is not just an option—it is our calling. Don’t forget to subscribe, share with friends, and leave us a review!

We discuss what it truly means to be filled with joy and peace amidst worldly distractions and challenges, reminding ourselves that the "God of hope" is not just a concept, but our source of strength and assurance.

In the episode, we challenge the common practice of praying primarily for worldly benefits, urging listeners to shift their focus toward the heart's desire for Christ. This transformative perspective encourages a spirit of unity and selflessness among believers, compelling us to prioritize intercessory prayer over personal selfish supplications.

  • MANIFESTING RIGHTEOUSNESS AS NEW CREATIONS
    Sep 7 2024

FAITH TO FAITH Series| RIGHTEOUSNESS | NATURE OF GOD| LIFE IN CHRIST | DISCIPLESHIP |CHIMDI OHAHUNA

Welcome to Episode 3 of our enlightening series, Faith To Faith, where we dig deep into the vital truth of Manifesting Righteousness. In this episode, we unravel the profound identity of believers as New Creations, exploring the delicate balance of being spiritual and physical.

Join us as we confront a critical misconception: the existence of the devil and his influence in our lives. Ignorance of his presence is an open door to manipulation, but acknowledging it opens the way to true spiritual manifestation. We discuss how the very act of recognizing our identity in Christ — that we are the righteousness of God — must translate into our lives, manifesting the righteousness we have received. This is not just a passive acceptance; it is a divine calling to reveal the truth of God to humanity, as indicated in Romans 8:19.

We will explore the difference between manipulation and manifestation; where manipulation is rooted in deception and witchcraft, true manifestation stems from revelation and an authentic relationship with Christ. Living the Christian life is not about diplomacy. It is about powerful truth-telling. Many shy away from the “hard words” of Scripture, mistaking what seems comfortable for what is truly transformative.

The core of our spirituality is clearly articulated in Matthew 5:16 — our visibility as believers is defined by the good works we do for Christ, this ties into Habakkuk 2:3, which speaks to the fulfillment of God's vision in action. We challenge the transactional mindset of giving and invite listeners to embrace the concept of love giving, which reflects God’s heart.

To truly manifest the righteousness of God, we discuss the non-negotiable nature of bearing fruit through being born again. What does it mean to be born-again? Is it merely a prayer or a ritual? We explore the transformative implications of being born of an incorruptible seed, drawing a parallel to the creation story of Adam and Eve. Just as Eve emerged from Adam's side, we too are called to arise from Christ, cleansed by His blood and continually nourished by the water of His Word.

As we journey through this episode, we emphasize the necessity of ongoing renewal through the Scriptures — a repentance that is, a constant turning away from our old selves towards the fullness of God’s purpose.

Tune in as we empower you to step into your identity as a New Creation, equipped to manifest the righteousness of God in a world hungry for hope and healing. This episode is not just for your growth; it is a clarion call for all believers to rise, shine, and be the manifestation of God’s righteousness on Earth.

  • THE ONLY RIGHTEOUSNESS THAT COUNTS
    Sep 5 2024

FAITH TO FAITH Series| RIGHTEOUSNESS | NATURE OF GOD| LIFE IN CHRIST | DISCIPLESHIP |CHIMDI OHAHUNA

Welcome to Episode 2 of our "Faith 2 Faith" series, where we further our study into the essence of faith and its transformative power in our lives. In this episode, we explore the profound theme of "Their Own Righteousness" and how it affects the New Creation's walk with God.

Join us as we unpack the critical distinction between praying out of revelation faith versus desperation and frustration. We discuss the importance of allowing divine revelation to guide our spiritual journey instead of imposing our personal revelations on others. Remember, faith should not infringe upon the rights of fellow believers; we are called to walk our path of faith without forcing our light onto others.

Throughout this episode, we address the insidious nature of judgment, particularly how the enemy seeks to assess us based on our self-righteousness. Instead, we are reminded to stand firm on the Finished Work of Christ, our only source of true righteousness and legal standing before God.

Discover the significance of obedience as a tangible manifestation of our willingness to follow God's ways. While the natural man is often resistant, clinging to self-made standards of righteousness, we emphasize the beauty of grace and the folly of works without faith. Key scriptures, such as Ephesians 2:5 and 1 Samuel 15:22, guide our conversation, highlighting that true obedience flows from a heart willing to submit to God’s righteousness.

Isaiah 64:4 serves as a crucial reminder that our pursuit of righteousness cannot be partial; God desires total surrender and authentic faith. If He cannot save us completely, then partial salvation is not His plan.

Tune in for insights that challenge your perspectives and deepen your understanding of righteousness as you journey from faith to faith. Whether you're struggling with doubts or seeking a clearer path in your spiritual life, this episode is for you. Let’s embark on this journey together!

  • CHRIST IN US: Understanding God’s Righteousness
    Sep 3 2024

FAITH TO FAITH Series| RIGHTEOUSNESS | NATURE OF GOD| LIFE IN CHRIST | DISCIPLESHIP |CHIMDI OHAHUNA

Welcome to the FAITH to FAITH podcast series, where we embark on a transformative journey through the profound themes of faith, righteousness, and our relationship with God. In our inaugural episode, we tackle a powerful topic: “GOD’S RIGHTEOUSNESS Versus THEIR OWN RIGHTEOUSNESS.”

Join us as we study the Scriptures, particularly Romans 1:17 and 10:1-3, John 5:39, and Isaiah 53:1-12, to discern the vital distinctions between human righteousness and the righteousness that comes from God. Our exploration unveils how a zeal without knowledge can lead to spiritual disaster, and how knowledge devoid of zeal often results in paralysis. We contend that ignorance is not simply a mistake; it is an intentional choice to overlook the divine truths that are readily available to us.

In our discussion, we will shed light on the futility of striving for personal righteousness—those futile attempts we often make to earn favor through prayers, giving, and other works—without recognizing that true righteousness is given freely through God’s grace. As we scrutinize Romans 10:3, we unfold God's magnificent plan for justifying mankind through faith in His Son, Jesus Christ. The main learning points are:

    · The Divine Scheme: Understanding how God’s righteousness offers salvation and brings peace between sinners and Himself.

    · Progressive Faith: How our faith evolves through understanding God’s righteousness, inviting us to deeper knowledge of Christ, just as outlined in Romans 1:17 and Philippians 3:10.

    · A New Identity: Recognizing our status as legal heirs and adopted children in the Beloved, through which we partake in His holiness and nature (1 Peter 1:3-4; Romans 8:16-17).

    · Imputation of Righteousness: Exploring how God imparts His righteousness upon us and the significance of Christ's sacrifice in our justification.

The FAITH to FAITH podcast series will help to deepen the understanding of faith and righteousness of saints. Each episode in this series, combines insightful teaching and practical Christian living applications, bringing believers closer to the heart of God. As we move from faith to faith, we invite you to join this journey of understanding and transformation.

  • GOD'S GIFT OF JUSTIFICATION: Understanding Your Eternal Security
    Sep 2 2024

THE NEW CREATION SUMMIT| NATURE OF RIGHTEOUSNESS | NEW LIFE| Discipleship |CHIMDI OHAHUNA

Welcome to Day 6 of the New Creation Summit! We’ve journeyed through the profound truths of Scripture, and today we advance into the study of justification as presented in Romans 8:33-34. Building on our previous discussion of Romans 8:23, we turn to insights from reputable Bible commentaries, including the esteemed Albert Barnes, to enrich our understanding.

In this episode, we unpack the compelling questions posed in Romans: "Who shall accuse?" and "Who shall bring a charge against God’s elect?" As we explore these verses, we come to a powerful realization: the very essence of being chosen by God removes any grounds for accusation. God’s elect, those selected according to His eternal plan, are cherished and secure in His grace. We will emphasize that justification is not merely a doctrinal concept but a divine act where God saves His people in such a way that no charge can stand against them.

We also confront the insidious tactics of the enemy, who seeks to sow seeds of doubt and guilt in our minds, aware that before God, we stand uncondemned. Our discussion will illuminate how guilt can mislead us if we rely solely on our conscience. While our conscience serves as a guide, it can sometimes misfire, leading us to false condemnation—a reminder of God’s greater truth, that His understanding surpasses our feelings of guilt.

Taking a closer look at the nature of justification, discover how it entails God’s foresight into our lives. He justifies us knowing our past, present, and future failures yet chooses to offer us grace. This concept lays the groundwork for our understanding of eternal security in Christ. We are safe and secure in our redemption, with the promise that God will not condemn us again.

However, we emphasize that this truth does not grant us a license to sin. Rather, true justification invites us into a lifelong process of repentance and growth in Christ. The Greek word for repentance denotes a continual changing of our minds and perspectives. As we remain in Christ, our eyes are opened to deeper truths, and we find ourselves craving a more intimate relationship with Him.

Join us for this enriching session where we not only seek to grasp the assurance of our justification but also understand the responsibilities that come with it. Remember, being justified is a privilege that calls us into a deeper pursuit of knowing our Lord Jesus.
