    Kristian Ulriksen takes his turn to guest host and talks about his change in training over the past year as well as his week leading to the Drammen Half. Julian returns and shares his stories from Zurich courtesy of On. Brad’s strength continues to show through another week of marathon training.

    Olympic Bronze medallist Yared Nuguse took out the 1500 “rematch” at the Zurich Diamond League in 3:29.21, ahead of Jakob Ingebrigsten who battled a cold in the lead up as well as Cole Hocker. Oli Hoare ran 3:37.43, while Stewy McSweyn withdrew from starting the 3000m. Beatrice Chebet ran 14:09.52 to take out the 5000m in a World Lead time. Zurich Diamond League Results

    Jarryd Clifford heartbreakingly misses out on a Paralympic medal in the T12 1500m Final by .01 of a second. Reece Langdon won the bronze medal in the T38 1500m, while Rheed McCracken won bronze in the T34 800m.

    Seth O’Donnell and Lissy Duncan both dominated the Burnley Half Marathon, with Seth O’Donnell winning in 1:02:05 over Harry Norman and Ben Chamberlain, while Lissy Duncan in 1:13:03 ahead of Erika Florez and Kate Mason.     Genevieve Gregson has a clear win at the Bridge to Brisbane 10km ahead of Richele Hill and Alex Blake, as did Liam Boudin ahead of Jack Bruce and Jude Thomas. Results

    Sarah Billings runs a 1:58.94 800m in Germany to clock a World Championships Qualifier. Word Athletics Results

    Josh Kerr finishes his season in style, breaking the long-standing course record of the 5th Avenue Mile in New York City in 3:44.3, while Karissa Schweizer was the breakaway winner in 4:14.8 which equaled Laura Muir’s course record. NYRR Results

    Leanne Pompeani returns and recaps her week leading to National Cross Country Championships. Jeff Riseley makes his IRP debut and chats about his time with Princeton, training for his first marathon. Brad holds down the fort and goes through a solid week of marathon training.

    Leanne Pompeani won the National Cross Country Championship over 10km held at Launceston, Tasmania ahead of local Ruby Smee, then Holly Campbell for NSW. NSW were the winning team, followed by Victoria and ACT. Seth O’Donnell outkicked Ed Marks in the mud as Haftu Strintzos finished third to make it a Victorian podium sweep, who were also the winning team ahead of NSW and Queensland. Results

    The World Junior Athletics Champions in Lima, Peru saw several young distance stars take centre stage, with several silver medals awarded to Claudia Hollingsworth in the 800m, Peyton Craig also in the 800m and Cameron Myers in 1500m.

    Jess Hull came fourth in the Rome Diamond League 1500m in 3:54.98, continuing her good form from the Olympics behind reigning champion Faith Kipyegon while Linden Hall bounced back running 3:58.94. Morgan McDonald ran 13:20.52 in the 5000m with Hagos Gebrehewit taking it out in 12:51.07 while Winifred Yavi narrowly missed the 3000m Steeplechase World Record in her 8:44.39 victory.     Jarryd Clifford crossed the finish line in third in the T13 5000m at the Paralympic Games in France, only to be disqualified for dropping his tether metres before the finish line. Michael Roeger won silver in the T46 1500m in 3:51.19. Paralympic Para Athletics Results
