    Both speakers agreed on the significance of personalized nutrition and the role of fresh, nutrient-dense foods in maintaining health and managing chronic conditions.

    Mischulaikah explained micro and macro nutrients and how the OrthoFoodie app works. She brought up inflammation and there was a general discussion on foods that are good and bad for inflammation including turmeric.

    Cris Carter emphasized the importance of nutrient-rich foods in senior living, including a hydration program and anti-inflammatory diets. He explained how their “Oh So Good” and other programs including “Puree with Purpose” promote healthier and visually appealing food options for “Dining with Dignity”.

    Marty Agather, VP Marketing & Sales, Embrace Prevention Care, introduced the Medicare-backed Guide Dementia Care Program, which provides personalized care plans, medication management, 24/7 call support, and up to $2,500 annually for respite care. “The Guide Program is aimed at supporting dementia caregivers, with resources and relief through Medicare-supported benefits.”
