  • Summary

  • AgapeFest - June '24

In this episode, Scott is joined by Diomer and two first-time guests Craig Watson and Maria Balch to talk about the AgapeFest event. Partway through the episode they are also joined by Austin Hall. Both Maria & Austin help lead the team that hosts and facilitates AgapeFest.

AgapeFest is a multi-day Christian Music festival that takes place in central PA. Diomer and Craig performed together at the festival on Friday, June 21st into Saturday, June 22nd, 2024.

The episode begins by sharing much of the backstory of how Agapefest was launched in the wake of the closure of CreationFest a couple of years ago. Maria shares about how the team was able to fill the festival’s lineup with different artists from around the tri-state. Maria also tells the story of how she connected to Diomer specifically to invite him to perform at the 2024 festival.

This episode continues with Diomer sharing about his desire to involve more friends in his set and ultimately how that included inviting Craig Watson to come perform as well. Throughout the conversation, Diomer and Craig share specific details about people they met before and after performing. The performance conversation centers mostly on the Friday night set.

At the very end of the episode, the whole cast talks about the future of AgapeFest and the hopes/dreams for what’s ahead in partnership with Ripe Creatives.
