Really resonated with me

I don’t know any woman with ambitions (small and large) who hasn’t come up against those trying to keep her down or ‘in her place’. This episode resonated with me so much. I trained & worked in a traditionally male field and from day one I had to be twice as good, twice as effective, twice as committed to even be taken seriously. I had to prove myself over and over and over again and STILL met with misogyny throughout my whole career. After I had children and carried on working it ramped up to a whole new level. More than once I questioned if my life would have been easier had I chosen a different career path but I was very stubborn and always refused to become less than I was capable of being because of the attitudes of others.

It was a great episode that made me remember those harder times in my life and relate to what Serena/Meghan were saying. But it was also very intimate & revealing, the personal stuff they shared made me feel like I was just sat in on a coffee morning chat with a couple of friends.

Looking forward to episode 2.

Fantastic topic and guest

Absolutely fantastic podcast. So relevant in this modern age. Very relatable and enlightening at the same time. Can’t wait to watch all the episodes.
