Funkadelic was a pioneering funk band, blending two of the most iconic sounds of the 60s: funk and psychedelic rock. Their 3rd album ‘Maggot Brain’ captures all the ideals that Funkadelic and its founder, George Clinton, tried to capture in their music: skilled musicianship, funky grooves, idealism, and pure, fun weirdness. Listen along as Parker grooves out to the music and begins making sense of the statement Funkadelic makes on this album.
