Funkadelic was a pioneering funk band, blending two of the most iconic sounds of the 60s: funk and psychedelic rock. Their 3rd album ‘Maggot Brain’ captures all the ideals that Funkadelic and its founder, George Clinton, tried to capture in their music: skilled musicianship, funky grooves, idealism, and pure, fun weirdness. The newest member of Benny the Butcher's Black Soprano Family, Sule, has just dropped one of the best hip hop projects of 2024. "Written On Wides Corner" is Sule's debut album release. Helaman loved his vivid descriptions of life in Englewood, NJ paired with his effortless flow and old school production. Named after British-Nigerian lead singer, Sade Adu, Sade quickly became one of the most iconic bands of the 80s and 90s. With Adu's angelic and whispery vocals, and the bands smooth jazz and soul influences, each song proves the deserved praise they have received over the years. Love Deluxe is Sade's fourth studio album and is widely recognized as one of the greatest albums of all time, across all genres.
