One of Britain's most prolific authors, Horowitz is known for his children’s fiction, such as the Alex Rider series, his mystery novels including Magpie Murders, as well as being a screenwriter and creator of series such as Midsomer Murders and BAFTA winning Foyle's War. We’ll be chatting with Anthony Horowitz about Close to Death, the fifth installment in his Hawthorne and Horowitz detective series. We will be asking how Horowitz how he decides when he’s got a good idea, what the move from children’s to adult’s fiction was like, and why he chose to write a series with himself as a character.

Joining us in the Audible Studios to talk about his latest book, Life 3.0, is renowned physicist and cosmologist Max Tegmark. A professor at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and scientific director of the Foundational Questions Institute, Tegmark cofounded the Future of Life institute and has been instrumental in advising on AI research.
