La nueva comisaria se encontrará involucrada, nada más llegar a su nuevo puesto de trabajo, en una escabrosa investigación, en el curso de la cual deberá ajustar las cuentas a personajes ligados a una secta esotérica, en un pueblo que es un lugar de brujas por excelencia: Triora.

Improvvise sparizioni inquietano gli abitanti di Triora, paesino dell`entroterra ligure. Caterina Ruggeri, commissario di Polizia, dovrà far luce su misteriosi delitti spingendosi fino a 400 anni prima: l`uccisione di una strega sembra celare le cause di un`esoterica vendetta.

Ancora una volta, la studiosa Lucia Balleani e l’archeologo Andrea Franciolini ci prenderanno per mano e ci guideranno attraverso gli arcani misteri della Jesi rinascimentale, tra vie, vicoli e Palazzi di un centro storico che, alle porte degli anni ’20 del XXI secolo, inizia a rigurgitare dal sottosuolo antichi e importanti oggetti riferibili a epoche passate.

Anno 2018: dall`icona del Palazzo della Signoria di Jesi scompare la corona di bronzo, da sempre al di sopra del leone rampante, a simboleggiare la regalità della città. Un nuovo enigma da risolvere per la studiosa Lucia Balleani che, finalmente incontrato l`amore nel giovane archeologo Andrea Franciolini, dovrà riscoprire assieme a lui alcuni lati sconosciuti legati alla vita della sua antenata Lucia Baldeschi. Ritorniamo dunque, insieme ai nostri due eroi, indietro nel tempo di mezzo millennio.

We left Andrea almost at the point of death, helped by his beloved, hidden in disguise. The plot has moved to Urbino, but certainly our two heroes, Andrea Franciolini and Lucia Baldeschi, will have to return to Jesi to fulfill their dream of love. The wedding will have to be a festive and opulent event, and will have to be celebrated by the Bishop of the City of Jesi, Monsignor Piersimone Ghislieri.
