It has been 10 years since the police had charged him with the murder of his wife - an accusation that almost destroyed Jason’s life before finally being declared innocent. When CI and I were thinking about writing our first books, we thought the process would be simple. Come up with an idea, sit down, and start typing. When finished, a publisher would snap up the book, publish it and we'd be famous. It didn’t turn out to be that easy as there was so much more to being an author than just writing your story.
