피아노에는 여러 종류가 있어요. 어떤 건 크고 어떤 건 작죠. 하지만 한 가지 공통점이 있답니다. 건반이 바로 그거예요.

바이올린 연주자가 바이올린을 들어올려 턱 아래에 괴고 활을 현 위로 올리면, 공기 중에 음악이 나타납니다: 너무 쉽고 자연스러워 보이죠.

근데 처음엔 사실 어색하답니다! 서로 다른 음색을 내려면 손가락을 어디 올려놔야하지? 좋은 소리가 나게 하려면 동시에 활은 어떻게 부드럽게 잡아당겨야 하지? 너무 어려워 보이죠!

표트르 일리이치 차이코프스키는 겨우 다섯 살 때 피아노를 배우기 시작했어요 - 러시아의 작은 고향 마을에서요. 그의 가족을 포함한 대부분의 가족들에게 피아노가 있긴 했지만 그처럼 피아노를 잘 칠 수 있는 작은 소년은 별로 없었죠. 그리고 그는 작곡도 시작했거든요.

Hailing from Seoul, and having studied and secured international success in Italy, which she now calls her second home, Sumi Jo has been travelling around the world to share her songs with audiences everywhere for over 30 years, until coronavirus-19 made it impossible for her to do so in 2020.
