Dotty, the puppy, just cannot get to sleep in her new home. One after another, the other pets try to help by suggesting what they would do to fall asleep. But nothing helps. Finally, all the new friends find comfort – and sleep – snuggled together in Dotty’s bed!

When Mommy Tiger tells Little Tiger it's time for bed, he never wants to go. One night, though, Little Tiger has a chance to stay up, and off he scampers to visit his jungle friends. Yet, Little Lion, Little Hippo and Little Monkey are ready for bed and have no time to play with him. As the jungle grows dark and scary, Little Tiger realises that being awake at night isn't much fun. But how will he get back home to Mommy Tiger?

But Mole is worried. 'Quick! Take it off!' he cries. 'It could be dangerous!' Suddenly, a bunny hops out of the hat, and then another, and another! Soon, there are too many bunnies to count! What can Mole and the Lumpy-Bumpy Thing do now?

Little Kitten can't purr, so she asks Dog whether he has her purr, but he only has his woof. Perhaps Cow has her purr? Or Sheep? One by one, Little Kitten asks all the animals in the farmyard, but no one has her purr. Where ever can it be?
