「どんぐりと山猫」は、1924年（大正13年）賢治が生前に出版した童話集「注文の多い料理店」に掲載された作品。 ある日、一郎のもとに変わった手紙が来る。裁判に出てほしいと言う山猫からの依頼なのだが・・。賢治独特の文体と世界観に満ちた作品である。 宮沢賢治（みやざわけんじ、1896年 - 1933年）岩手県生まれ、童話作家、詩人。郷土をこよなく愛し、作品中にも岩手をモチーフにした架空の理想郷が登場する。
