I am sure most of the stories have been read many times in the social media. But to listen to them together gives a fresh perspective to human life. The audiobook is a collection of short stories about birds, insects, and animals. Scientists say they do have their own consciousness. The revised title is "Stories from Nature", apt because we are talking anything but non-humans here.

What made me write a book on this subject? South Indian Hindu marriage is a mix of cultural traditions and belief system. There are strong emotions attached to the past karma, good and bad times, and auspicious times (Muhurta, in Sanskrit). For example, there is an auspicious time set for consummating the marriage. Sometimes, couples have to wait few days after the marriage for that event. It’s interesting to watch these traditions, at a time when marriage and divorce can be obtained within a day at Vegas!

Learn about the unique blend of culture, tradition, music, and food from this part of South India. More focus on the Palghat (also known as Palakkad) Brahmins (Iyers, specific to that location context), a community known for their unique traits and social contribution. This community is known for their ancient wisdom passed on into next generations by elders in the family. Their customs and traditions in clothing, food preparations, marriage, and even in death. Some parts of these are exclusive to Palghat Iyers.

So far, Covid-19 has impacted 11.32 million people in the world with 531729 deaths. Families lost their elders with absolutely no warning. The generational wisdom is lost so quickly. Covid-19 did not see age, gender, race, religion, color, caste, creed, language, or borders before striking.
