• 25-1 How You Can Heal Your Body Naturally … In 2025

Episode 25:1 How You Can Heal Your Body Naturally … In 2025

If you are suffering with any type of sickness or disease, I want 2025 to be the year that you are completely healed.

I say that because I believe it’s possible.

That is, I believe that God designed your body with an innate ability to heal itself.

    Naturally, without drugs or surgery.

    The question is “How?”

HOW do you get your body to heal itself?

On this episode I answer that question.

Specifically, I share that the KEY to getting your body to heal itself is simple:

Provide it with an environment that is conducive for healing.

    Or, stated another way…

"Given the right environment, your body will heal itself."

    This leads to another question:

HOW do you provide your body with the right environment... an environment that is conducive for healing?

Once again, I have you covered by sharing with you, on this episode, TEN “Tools” that will help you create such an environment.

Give this episode a good listen and be sure to pay special attention to the Ten Tools as they are truly the KEY to getting your body to heal itself.

In addition, please share this episode with a friend.

    Thanks!

Episode 24:52 Ten Takeaways From 2024… And One (Bold) Prediction For 2025

    Happy Holidays!

As another year comes to an end, I thought it would be wise to step back and reflect on some of what we’ve learned these past twelve months.

To accomplish that task, I reviewed every podcast episode from the past year and picked out the ten most popular ones.

Episodes that were downloaded the most.

Episodes that generated the most questions.

Episodes that listeners thought were the most beneficial.

On this episode I share the highlights of those episodes.

Ten solid pieces of health advice I know you’ll find beneficial.

In addition, I share one bold prediction I have for the new year.

Something you’ll want to be aware of if you desire to optimize your health.

Please give this episode a good listen and then share it with a friend.

    Thanks!

  • 24-51 FIVE Questions You Need To Know The Answers To
    Dec 18 2024

Episode 24:51 FIVE Questions You Need To Know The Answers To

People have questions… and I have answers!

Over the past few weeks I’ve been asked some really good questions… questions that I feel everyone would benefit from knowing the answers to.

    Why?

Because knowing the answers to these questions will not only make you smarter… they’ll make you healthier.

So, what are the five questions?

    I thought you’d never ask 😂

    1) Is it true that eating the same amount of food… in a shorter period of time (Intermittent Fasting)… will promote weight loss?

    2) Is Intermittent Fasting as beneficial as Prolonged (several days) Fasting?

    3) What is “The Department Store” analogy?

    4) Does a Leaky Gut cause food sensitivities or do food sensitivities cause a Leaky Gut?

    5) Can repairing a Leaky Gut really improve a stroke victim’s recovery?

Like I said above, get these answers right and you’ll not only be smarter… you’ll be healthier!

For that reason, be sure to give this episode a good listen and then share it with a friend.

    Thanks!

  • 24-50 The Amazing Health Benefits Of Intermittent Fasting
    Dec 11 2024

Episode 24:50 The Amazing Health Benefits Of Intermittent Fasting

Intermittent Fasting may be the most underutilized and underappreciated “tool” available for anyone looking to improve their health and/or heal from disease.

    Why do I say that?

Because Intermittent Fasting has the potential to help you:

    1) Lose weight

    2) Repair a Leaky Gut

    3) Reduce Insulin Resistance

    Read that again:

Intermittent Fasting can help you lose weight, repair a Leaky Gut, and reduce insulin resistance.

    That’s amazing!

    Why?

Because those physiological functions represent the ROOT CAUSES of most chronic diseases.

For that reason alone Intermittent Fasting should be heavily promoted.

Unfortunately, it’s not. Very few people know, or understand, the benefits of Intermittent Fasting.

But that's about to change… starting today!

On this week’s episode of the Get Healthy Alabama podcast (now available!), I discuss the benefits of Intermittent Fasting with an emphasis placed on the role it plays in repairing a Leaky Gut... and the role a Leaky Gut plays in the development of AutoImmune Disease.

Be sure to give this episode a good listen and then share it with a friend.

    Thanks!

  • 24-49 Is It Possible To Lose Weight During The Holidays? (The Answer Is “Yes”)
    Dec 4 2024

Episode 24:49 Is It Possible To Lose Weight During The Holidays? (The Answer Is “Yes”)

I do NOT encourage my patients to try to lose weight during the holidays.

Instead, I encourage them to try to avoid GAINING weight by making healthy choices MOST of the time.

However, occasionally I’ll have a patient who insists on trying to lose weight during the holidays.

A patient like Jason who, a few years ago, followed a “no carb” diet from mid-November through December and dropped 25 pounds.

Unfortunately, that’s NOT a diet I can recommend to people… at least not at this time of the year.

However, what I CAN recommend is a strategy I shared with a patient named Cathy.

A strategy that helped her LOSE 10 pounds during the holidays… WITHOUT giving up carbs.

On this week’s episode I talk about the strategy I shared with Cathy.

A strategy YOU can employ during the holidays, or anytime during the year, to help improve your health AND lose weight (if necessary).

Be sure to give this episode a good listen and then share it with a friend.

    Thanks!

  • 24-47 Quit Being So “Needy.” It’s Making You, And Others, Sick
    Nov 20 2024

Episode 24:47 Quit Being So “Needy.” It’s Making You, And Others, Sick

On last week’s episode I talked about the importance of confidence.

How a person with a high level of confidence is more successful… more attractive… and healthier than a person with a low level of confidence.

I also talked about HOW a person could develop more confidence.

Specifically, I said it came down to having a greater understanding of:

    1) WHO you are (Identity)

    2) WHY you are (Purpose)

On this episode I take the conversation further… especially with regard to knowing WHY you are.

    Your Purpose.

I go into great detail about…

    1) WHAT Purpose is

    2) HOW to discover your Purpose

    3) WHY knowing your Purpose will improve your health and eliminate “neediness”

Give this episode a good listen and, as always, share it with a friend.

    Thanks!

  • 24-46 Confidence: The Key To Living A Healthy And Successful Life
    Nov 13 2024

Episode 24:46 Confidence: The Key To Living A Healthy And Successful Life

Suppose there were two athletes of equal talent.

One seems to always win. The other seems to always fall short.

    Why?

Likewise, suppose there are two women… both with beautiful singing voices.

One is always being booked for shows. The other not so much.

    Why?

In both cases - the athletes and the singers - the difference between the “winner” and the “loser” is NOT talent.

    It’s CONFIDENCE.

Confidence, although invisible is a real force.

    A powerful force.

Confidence makes a person more attractive.

    More respected.

Confidence also makes a person more likely to be healthy… and successful.

On this episode I talk about HOW you can develop more confidence.

REAL confidence that will serve you well in every area of your life… including your health.

Give this episode a good listen and, as always, share it with a friend.

    Thanks!
